Bought this for my mother who is in a nursing home recovering from surgery. Thought it would be nice for her to have a little music and see the time. The light on clock did not work from the start. After a couple of days use my mothers nurse came in and smelled burning, the clock/radio was very hot to the touch.

RCA RP5400 Smart Snooze Dual Wake AM/FM Clock Radio has a 0.9 green LED display for easy readability. Different levels of brightness control are offered with this unit to accommodate different light setting environments. When the alarm is activated, all five buttons on top will act as a snooze. Individual wake time indicators are present which allow two different alarm settings for two different users. Using its programmable snooze feature which turns off the alarm or radio providing an extra 9 minutes of sleep or which can be programmed for 1-30 minutes, you can snooze up to 2 hours. Its programmable sleep feature plays the radio for up to 2 hours before automatically turning off the radio, allowing the user to gently fall asleep to music.
